Creating Our OWN Million Dollar Makeover - $10 at a time!

At the last update in the voting on Friday morning, HSBC was over 93,000 votes behind the shelter in 1st place. While we'd like to believe in miracles, we also have to take a look at reality too. We won $10,000 from ZooToo and the attention and support of hundreds and hundreds of great people LIKE YOU.

Please help us make our dreams a reality without having to depend on the prize money from ZooToo. If EVERY ONE of our 3000+ supporters donate JUST $10, we'd have $30,000 to make improvements to the shelter. Add that to the $10,000 already won, that means the combined efforts of the animal loving community raised $40,000 to better the lives of the animals who find themselves at the Humane Society of Barron County. And what's $10? A trip to Perkins? One ticket to the movies? But to these animals, that's food for another day, that's a drop in the bucket on the never ending vet bills. That, times our 3000 supporters is us being well on our way to creating our OWN million dollar makeover.


One of our biggest ZooToo supporters has offered up a challenge - for EVERY $10 donation through through this drive between now and May 10th, she will donate an additional $1 - up to $3,000. So that means we have the potential to raise $43,000 one ten dollar bill at a time! Thanks for this wonderful offer Chitown and we hope ouir supporters make you MAX OUT that donation!!!

Another supporter decided to do the same thing! For the first 500 $10 donations received between April 27th and May 1st, she will also donate $1! This means that you donate $10 and the animals get $12! This also means that $5000 in donations is actually $6000! Thanks SO much Christine!!! Let's MAX out her donation too!!!

You've signed up on ZooToo for us. You've posted pictures and journaled for us. You've voted for us. Now please take this one last step in our quest for a million dollar makeover and donate just ten dollars to help these animals we all love so much.

The attention this contest brought to our shelter caused many people to learn that we definitely do have MANY MANY needs. And everyone seems to feel a bit differently about what needs are the most important and what is not quite so important. Which is why we're letting you PICK what you'd like your donation to be used for.
